Founder | Type Designer

Michelle Webster is a Minnesota graphic designer and educator focusing on type design and decorative lettering. Webster teaches Masters-level typography at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design ("MCAD"), as well as decorative typography workshops for continuing education. Webster holds a Bachelors in Economics (University of San Francisco, a MA in Graphic & Web Design (MCAD), and certificates in Type Design from Type@Cooper (Cooper Union NYC) and UX Design (MCAD). Recent clients include The State of Minnesota, Anthropologie, Trader Joes, The Bookish Box, and Shapco Printing.

Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, NeueCo is a dynamic multimedia design studio and type foundry specializing in graphic, web, and product design—all brought to life with custom type and lettering. Our carefully crafted fonts and lettering blend timeless inspiration from the past with a thoroughly modern, functional edge, creating designs that are as thoughtful as they are versatile.

The Founder

Founder Michelle Webster began her design career in 2012, and started designing fonts in 2020. Michelle holds degrees in economics and design, as well as certificates in typeface design, and UX design.
