The Hobbs Family is a charismatic expansion contrast text typeface in the Ionic Slab tradition. Hobbs was designed to be a workhorse, with superior readability at text sizes and a warm, nostalgic character when viewed in larger sizes and heavier weights. Hobbs is available in two styles, Roman and Condensed, each with four weights ranging from regular to bold.  

Hobbs (the Roman) has a robust character set including small caps, full punctuation, tabular and proportional figures, case sensitive forms for titling, math symbols, and decorative icons, with extended Latin language support. 

Hobbs' Condensed style shimmies into a space-saving, somehow quirkier, retro-vibing narrow proportion with the same character set as the Roman. 

Hobbs was designed by Michelle Webster, and released in September 2025.
